Gangues selvagens e covardes
Uns pregam o anti-semitismo, outros, o patriotismo, e há os que nutrem ódio por nordestinos, negros, gays… A maioria desses moicanos ou cultores de músculos, no entanto, mal conhece as teorias que defende. Há fartura de casos policiais na cidade relatando punks, skinheads e sabe-se lá o que mais envolvidos em depredações, brigas e assassinatos. Só neste ano, a ação dessas gangues resultou na morte de seis pessoas
Na cabeça de uns, espalhafatosos moicanos azuis, verdes ou vermelhos espetados com gel. Na de outros, só o brilho da careca. Dentro delas, nenhum estofo intelectual para serem representantes, como costumam pregar, de qualquer corrente ideológica que seja, mas imbecilidade suficiente para sair por aí depredando, batendo e até matando. “Gosto de beber, conhecer novos punks, brigar e agitar muito. Sou um cara subversivo e tento de alguma forma destruir esse sistema”, diz o estudante Johni Raoni Falcão Galanciak, 21 anos, em sua página no site de relacionamentos Orkut. “Por isso, tomem cuidado.” Na madrugada do último domingo, ele estava entre os 25 punks acusados de espancar e desfigurar o rosto do estudante G.C., de 17 anos, na Avenida Tiradentes, a pouco mais de 100 metros da sede das Rondas Ostensivas Tobias de Aguiar (Rota). Nove deles, inclusive Galanciak, já fichado na polícia, acabaram presos em seguida. O restante conseguiu fugir. Os delinqüentes fazem parte da Vício Punk, uma das doze gangues que atuam na cidade e que volta e meia protagonizam episódios covardes e de extrema violência. Suspeita-se que o rapaz que apanhou até sofrer um traumatismo craniano e múltiplas fraturas no maxilar seja ligado a um grupo rival de skinheads.
Esse foi o segundo ataque de punks em uma semana. No dia 14, delinqüentes mataram, a facadas, o balconista Jaílton de Souza Pacheco no Terminal Parque Dom Pedro II, no centro. Os punks queriam pagar 60 centavos por um pedaço de pizza que custava 1 real, o que motivou a discussão. Dois homens e uma mulher foram presos. De grande repercussão, a morte do turista francês Grégor Erwan Landouar, esfaqueado nos Jardins em 10 de junho, teve uma explicação homofóbica. A vítima havia participado da Parada Gay. “Ele disse em juízo que ficou revoltado quando viu duas pessoas do mesmo sexo se beijando e resolveu matar a primeira pessoa que encontrasse pela frente”, conta o promotor Maurício Ribeiro Lopes, referindo-se a Genésio Mariuzzi Filho, o “Antrax”, preso sob a acusação de ter matado o francês. “Trata-se de alguém que faz o mal sem remorso ou culpa, como um psicopata.” No mesmo mês, membros da gangue Devastação Punk mataram o garçom John Clayton Moreira Batista, também nos Jardins, por ele ter se recusado a emprestar um isqueiro.
Pelo que se vê, há fartura de casos policiais relatando punks, skinheads e sabe-se lá o que mais envolvidos em depredações, brigas e assassinatos. Só neste ano, a ação dessas gangues resultou na morte de seis pessoas. O número de óbitos pode parecer pequeno se comparado, por exemplo, aos catorze homicídios cometidos em um único fim de semana na capital. Mas trata-se de baderneiros violentos e estúpidos o suficiente para representar um perigo à solta. “Está havendo um tipo de guerra entre essas tribos urbanas depois que mataram o líder de uma das facções”, afirma a delegada Margarette Barreto, titular da Delegacia de Crimes Raciais e Delitos de Intolerância (Decradi).
Criada em 2005, a Decradi mapeia as principais gangues de São Paulo. Em seu sistema, há cerca de 3 000 fotos de arruaceiros e suas armas. Quando um deles se mete em confusão, é fichado. Assim, a polícia tenta patrulhar e acompanhar a ação de grupos como Ameaça Punk, Vício Punk, Devastação Punk, Phuneral Punk, Carecas do ABC, Carecas do Subúrbio, Front 88, Impacto Hooligan, Brigada Hooligan, entre outros. Uns pregam o anti-semitismo, outros, o patriotismo, e há os que nutrem ódio por nordestinos, negros e homossexuais. A maioria desses moicanos ou cultores de músculos, no entanto, mal conhece as teorias que defende e apenas repete bordões ouvidos de terceiros. Com suas roupas características (skinheads usam coturno, suspensórios, calças camufladas; punks vestem camisetas de bandas e calças rasgadas), são freqüentemente identificados em alguns pontos da cidade. Circulam por lojas da Galeria do Rock, pela Avenida Paulista, por bares da Treze de Maio e boates da Rua Augusta. Segundo testemunhas, os punks que protagonizaram o último episódio dessa batalha urbana saíam da casa noturna Hangar 110, um reduto alternativo no Bom Retiro. “Aqui dentro não ocorre briga porque tenho seguranças e mantenho tudo sob controle”, afirma o proprietário Marco Antônio Badin. “O problema é que essa molecada confunde anarquia com baderna e protesto com violência.” E a violência vem armada: correntes, socos-ingleses, tacos de beisebol, machadinhas, tchacos (dois bastões unidos por uma corrente) e sprays de pimenta.
O analista de sistemas Willian Almeida, de 23 anos, conhecido como Zugão e integrante do grupo Punk Subúrbio desde os 13 anos, costuma andar sempre armado com correntes, faca e soco-inglês, pelo qual nutre uma espécie de gratidão. “Numa das brigas, ele estava dentro da minha jaqueta e evitou que tomasse uma facada no peito. Salvou minha vida”, lembra Almeida, que afirma ter perdido três amigos para as lutas de rua. Baixista da banda Ódio em Excesso, Almeida conta que foi atacado pelo menos cinco vezes por skinheads. Acabou machucado em duas brigas. Há três anos, saía de um show em São Mateus, na Zona Leste, quando foi abordado por três carecas, armados de espadas. O amigo que o acompanhava ganhou cortes pelo corpo e Almeida, um braço quebrado. “Os caras costumam aparecer de repente e já chegam na porrada, sem dizer nada. Ou você bate ou apanha.”
Em geral, os membros dessas facções são jovens de classe média baixa. Muitos trabalham como office boys, seguranças, vendedores, auxiliares de escritório ou se apresentam como estudantes. Freqüentam os mesmos lugares e compartilham os gostos musicais (reggae, ska e punk – de variadas vertentes). Bandas como Toy Dolls, Virus 27, Skrewdriver e Four Skins fazem a cabeça dos skinheads. Os punks preferem Cólera, Inocentes, Garotos Podres, Plebe Rude, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Olho Seco e The Misfits. Alguns líderes dessas bandas se sentem desconfortáveis com a onda de violência entre seus fãs. “Infelizmente, há bandidos imbecis da pior espécie que vestem a bandeira do movimento punk para praticar agressões gratuitas”, diz Michel Stamatopoulos, o Sukata, baixista dos Garotos Podres. Para não serem tachados de catalisadores de violência, os Garotos Podres têm evitado shows em São Paulo. Ultimamente, apenas duas ou três das cinqüenta apresentações anuais que fazem ocorrem por aqui.
Quem acompanhou a história das gangues paulistanas acredita que as “tretas” – como eles se referem às brigas – se intensificaram com a chegada do filme Warriors, Os Selvagens da Noite (de 1979), dirigido por Walter Hill. A fita mostra o conflito entre gangues nova-iorquinas depois da morte do líder da maior delas. Por aqui, as brigas viveram o auge nos anos 80, entre facções da capital e do ABC. Atualmente, essa guerra não mais opõe tribos de São Paulo e tribos do ABC. “Quem passou a juventude nos anos 80 sabe que os punks tinham um discurso anárquico, de contestação, protesto, mas não eram violentos nem preconceituosos”, diz Patrícia Linn Bianchi, promotora do caso dos skinheads que obrigaram dois jovens a se jogar de um trem em Mogi das Cruzes – um morreu e outro perdeu o braço. “Essas gangues fazem releituras equivocadas desses movimentos. São arrogantes, segregacionistas e precisam de um manto para agir.” Ou seja, são covardes, selvagens e merecem cadeia.

Quem são, como agem e o que pensam os membros de gangues envolvidos em episódios violentos
A Delegacia de Crimes Raciais e Delitos de Intolerância (Decradi) identificou algumas das gangues envolvidas em crimes na região metropolitana. Entre elas estão Devastação Punk, Ameaça Punk, Vício Punk e Vingança Punk. A vertente dos skinheads é representada por Impacto Hooligan, Carecas do ABC, Carecas do Subúrbio e Front 88. Integrantes da facção Vício Punk são apontados como os responsáveis pelo espancamento do menor G.C. em frente à Estação Tiradentes do metrô, no último dia 21. É o mesmo grupo relacionado ao assassinato de um membro do Front 88, na Rua Augusta, em abril. O caso de maior repercussão do ano ocorreu em junho, quando o turista francês Grégor Erwan Landouar morreu após ser esfaqueado por Genésio Mariuzzi Filho, conhecido como Antrax, ao sair do restaurante Ritz, nos Jardins. Antrax, que confessou o crime, pertence ao Vingança Punk.
Filosofia
Quando surgiram, na década de 70, os punks ficaram conhecidos por criticar “o sistema”, o que quer que isso significasse. Já a marca dos skinheads, que nasceram no mesmo período, são o racismo e o nacionalismo exacerbado. Não à toa, o ídolo de parte do grupo é o ditador nazista Adolf Hitler. Nas facções paulistanas, no entanto, essas características se misturam. “Os grupos Devastação Punk e Vício Punk também são racistas”, afirma a delegada Margarette Barreto, do Decradi. “Não é muito clara a linha ideológica de cada um.” A maioria dos agressores mal conhece as teorias originais de cada movimento e apenas repete bordões ouvidos de terceiros. São jovens entre 16 e 26 anos, boa parte de classe média baixa, entre eles estudantes, office boys, auxiliares de escritório, seguranças e vendedores de camisetas e adereços do estilo.
Visual
Cabelo colorido com corte moicano é uma das características dos punks. Já os skinheads (cabeça raspada, em inglês) são, claro, carecas. As duas tribos usam calças camufladas e coturnos. Os skinheads são vistos com suspensórios (no caso dos neonazistas White Powers, de cor branca). Os punks vestem camisetas com nome de banda e, muitas vezes, exibem tatuagens malfeitas, correntes e braceletes. Os skinheads trazem adereços nacionalistas. Alguns tatuam a bandeira do Brasil no corpo.

Na alternativa casa noturna Hangar 110, no Bom Retiro, ocorrem os shows das bandas prediletas desses grupos.

Bandas como Toy Dolls, Virus 27, Skrewdriver e Four Skins costumam tocar nos iPods dos skinheads, que também curtem gêneros como a Oi! music e o RAC (Rock Against Communism), conhecido como “rac and roll”. Os sete casos graves registrados neste ano de 2007
21 de outubro. O menor G.C., 17 anos, foi espancado por um grupo de 25 punks, que saíam de uma casa noturna no Bom Retiro. Nove foram detidos.
14 de outubro. O balconista Jaílton de Souza Pacheco foi esfaqueado e morto, no centro, por três jovens que se identificaram como punks. Motivo: ele se recusou a fazer um desconto na venda de um pedaço de pizza.
22 de junho. Punks esfaquearam e mataram o garçom John Clayton Moreira Batista, nos Jardins, por ele não ter lhes emprestado um isqueiro. Quatro adultos e quatro adolescentes – que fariam parte do grupo Devastação Punk – foram detidos pela polícia.
10 de junho. No dia da Parada do Orgulho Gay, o turista francês Grégor Erwan Landouar foi assassinado nos Jardins. Dois jovens, identificados como punks, foram presos. Um deles, Antrax, é tido como líder da gangue Vingança Punk.
13 de abril. Munidos com barras de ferro e facas, dez punks agrediram skinheads na Rua Augusta. Ricardo Sutanis Cardoso morreu e Rogério Moreira ficou ferido.
4 de março. Ex-PM e seu filho mataram a facadas dois adolescentes na Penha, Zona Leste. Tudo ocorreu depois de uma briga entre dois grupos punks rivais.
10 de fevereiro. O professor universitário Alessandro Faria de Araújo foi espancado nos Jardins. A polícia identificou e prendeu cinco dos acusados, que pertenceriam aos grupos Carecas do ABC e Devastação Punk.

Some leaders of these bands feel uncomfortable with the wave of violence among their fans. “Unfortunately, there are stupid bandits of the worst kind who wear the flag of the movement punk aggression to practice free,” says Michel Stamatopoulos, the Sukata, bassist of the Boys Podres. To avoid being tachados catalysts of violence, the Boys Podres have avoided shows in Sao Paulo. Recently, only two or three of the fifty annual presentations that are occurring there.
